Display advertising
Head Spa Scout may display ads supplied by advertising partners, including services such as Google AdSense or Journey by Mediavine. Ads may be selected contextually or, where permitted and based on your choices, personalized using cookies or similar technologies. Advertising labels and visual treatment are intended to distinguish paid placements from editorial content.
The appearance of an ad does not mean Head Spa Scout has tested, approved, or endorsed the advertiser, product, claim, or offer. Advertisers are responsible for their own content and destination pages. Privacy information about ad technology appears in our privacy policy.
No display-ad provider is configured in the current site build. Provisional listings, search-result URLs, thin location collections, and utility pages are marked ineligible for directory-content ad placements. When an ad partner is activated, the integration must enforce those exclusions—not merely rely on the page marker—until the underlying content improves.
Editorial independence
Ordinary directory inclusion is governed by our published methodology, not by payment. An advertiser cannot purchase a positive editorial conclusion, suppress an eligible competitor, prevent a supported correction, or require us to repeat a medical or performance claim.
Commercial staff or partners may identify opportunities and provide factual source material. Editorial standards still control what the directory says and whether a candidate qualifies.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links may be affiliate links, meaning Head Spa Scout could receive a commission if you complete a qualifying purchase or action. When a page contains affiliate links, we disclose that relationship near the relevant content. Using an affiliate link should not increase the price you pay unless the destination clearly states otherwise.
Compensation does not change the evidence standard for a factual claim. We do not describe an item as personally tested unless it was actually tested and that experience is disclosed.
Sponsored content and paid placements
If Head Spa Scout publishes sponsored content or offers a paid placement, it will be clearly labeled with language such as “Sponsored,” “Paid placement,” or “Advertisement.” The disclosure should be visible before or at the point where a reader encounters the commercial message—not hidden on this policy page alone.
A paid placement, if offered, is separate from our independent assessment. It does not convert a business into a verified recommendation or exempt it from correction and removal rules.
Complimentary services and other benefits
If a writer receives a complimentary or discounted service, travel, product, gift, or other material benefit connected to coverage, that relationship must be disclosed in the article. A free experience does not guarantee coverage or a positive conclusion.
Business claims remain the business’s claims
Ads and sponsored messages may contain claims made by a third party. Head Spa Scout does not independently adopt those claims merely by displaying them. In particular, advertising must not be mistaken for medical advice or proof that a service treats a scalp condition or causes hair growth.
Questions or concerns
If an ad appears misleading, is difficult to distinguish from editorial content, or creates an accessibility problem, email the page URL and a description to nocturnaldevs@gmail.com.
