Our approach
We aim to build and maintain Head Spa Scout in alignment with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA where reasonably applicable. This is an ongoing practice, not a one-time certification. Content, browsers, assistive technology, and third-party services change, so we expect to keep testing and improving.
Accessibility practices built into the site
Our design and publishing standards include:
- Semantic headings, landmarks, lists, tables, and descriptive page titles.
- Keyboard-accessible navigation, links, controls, and visible focus indicators.
- A skip link that moves directly to the main page content.
- Readable text, responsive layouts, and color contrast designed for legibility.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and decorative elements hidden from assistive technology.
- Labels and instructions for search fields and other interactive controls.
- Content that does not rely on color alone to communicate meaning.
- Plain-language explanations for directory labels and verification terms.
Known limits
Head Spa Scout links to business websites, map services, booking platforms, advertising, and other third-party content we do not control. Those experiences may not meet the same accessibility goals. If a third-party source is inaccessible, you can tell us; when practical, we will try to clarify the directory information or identify another public source, but we cannot remediate an outside website.
Automated accessibility checks find only some issues. We combine them with keyboard and layout review and welcome reports from people using assistive technology.
Request help or report a barrier
Email nocturnaldevs@gmail.com with “Accessibility feedback” in the subject. If possible, include:
- The page URL and what you were trying to accomplish.
- What happened and what you expected to happen.
- Your browser, device, operating system, and assistive technology, if you are comfortable sharing them.
- The format or accommodation that would make the information usable.
We will review the issue and use the details to investigate. Please do not include passwords, payment data, medical records, or other sensitive personal information.
Need directory information another way?
Tell us which page or listing you need and the accessible format that would help. We will make a reasonable effort to provide the core information available to us.
